Transformation of English Teaching Contents and Teaching Methods in Higher Vocational Colleges Under the Background of “Internet +”

Traditional English teaching in higher vocational colleges has some problems in the cultivation of students, which cannot meet the needs of social development. With the development of the Internet age, the traditional way is challenged, while there are also great opportunities. Therefore, for the English teaching of higher vocational colleges, we should seize the opportunity of the times, change the teaching content and teaching methods, follow the development trend of the times, meet the challenges, enhance the teaching level, promote the modern development of teaching, and cultivate high-quality talents for social needs. Based on this, this paper first briefly analyzes the problems existing in the current English teaching in higher vocational colleges, challenges the English teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges under the background of “Internet +”, then analyzes the transformation of English teaching content in Higher Vocational Colleges under the background of “Internet +”, and finally analyzes the transformation of English teaching methods in Higher Vocational Colleges under the background of “Internet +” , hope to provide some helpful reference and opportunities of exchanges for scholars and related people of the industry.
