Congratulations to Prof. Qiang Zhang on his appointment as Co-Editor-In-Chief of Journal of Atmospheric Science Research

Prof. Qiang Zhang is a physical geographer. His research is related to hydrological cycle and related effects in terms of resources, disasters and ecology. The major methods include statistical techniques and statistical models, hydrological models, machine learning and geo-intelligence. In recent years, he focused on urbanization-related climate changes such as urban heat island and urban rainfall island. Besides, he is also interested in soil moisture changes and relevant ecological effects, disaster effects and resource effects. He has more than 200 peer-reviewed papers published in international journals with total 5000 citations and H index of 54. Besides, he edited 6 books.
