Publication Frequency Adjustment

In order to facilitate and expedite the publication of research findings for scholars, after discussion with the editor-in-chief and editorial board, it has been decided that starting from Vol. 7, Iss. 3 (August), the publication frequency of Research in Ecology (RE) will be changed from quarterly to Bimonthly.

Research in Ecology (RE) extends its gratitude to the authors, readers, reviewers, and scholars who have supported the development of our journal. We will continue to adhere to rigorous peer review and standardized publishing processes to ensure the high-quality publication of the journal.

Congratulations to Prof. Shunyao Zhuang for being selected as the 2022 Outstanding Editor-in-Chief

To express the recognition of the Editor-in-Chief who has made positive contributions to the journal, Bilingual Publishing Co has selected the 2022 Outstanding Editor-in-Chief.
Prof. Zhuang has been the editor-in-chief of Research in Ecology since its launch. He has made significant contributions to the journal in terms of setting and updating the aims and scope of the journal, making preliminary and final reviews of each submitted manuscript, and promoting the journal in various ways to attract more excellent authors and readers. He has made a significant contribution to the journal and has achieved positive results according to the journal's plan.
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Zhuang has been selected as the Outstanding Editor-in-Chief for 2022, and we will offer a variety of awards to show our congratulations and appreciation, including a trophy and a prize.
We believe that with the support of Prof. Zhuang and all the editorial board members, authors, and readers, Research in Ecology will enter a higher academic level in 2023.

Congratulations to Professor T M Indra Mahlia on his appointment as the Associate Editor of Research in Ecology

Prof. T M Indra Mahlia is a Distinguished Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UTS, and a highly-cited researcher in the field of engineering. He is a core member of the University’s Centre for Green Technology, which aims to develop novel technology for future clean fuels, vehicle emissions measurement, and environmental decontamination. His research interests include sustainable energy, renewable energy conversion and storage, forestry biomass and bioproducts, automotive combustion and fuel engineering. He is involved as a researcher in a $5 million project funded by various sources. He is listed as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 and a field leader in Sustainable Energy (Engineering & Computer Science) in a special report published by The Australian in 2019. He was appointed as a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 2009. His publications include more than 350 journal articles, proceedings and research reports, of which more than 300 are in WOS and Scopus indexed.

How to promote the Growth of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica?

The seedlings of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica, the annual seedlings exhibit the highest incidence rate, with a mortality rate of up to 50% upon disease incidence . Over-reliance on chemical pesticides has caused serious problems such as soil compaction, degradation of soil fertility, increased drug resistance of the pathogens and pests, destruction of soil’s micro-ecological environment, increased crop phytotoxicity, and weak seedling growth.

The process of collating and peer review for the next issue (Volume 3, Issue 3) of Research in Ecology release has already begun.
We provide fee waiver to authors from countries classified as low income counties by World Bank. Other requests of fee waiver will be considered on a case by case basis. To apply for a waiver please request Waiver before submitting your manuscript by sending an email to re@bilpublishing.com .
